After deciding to purchase a new van, something I've not done before as i always bought used vehicles i set about the task of finding the best deal out there !!
However not being one to rush into things i gave myself plenty of time about 9 months lol to sort it out.
As it happened the first company that i contacted was Harpenden Vans - Fleet sales and although leaving no stone unturned i could not find a better deal than the one offered by Ian from this company, their vehicle was of a very high spec, one that most dealerships could not source in less than 10 weeks as it had to be a factory build.
Not only was the van of high spec it was also priced competitively in fact my local vauxhall dealership couldn't believe i could get a van of this spec at the price and advised me
to quote "bite their arm off" as they were not able to get near fleet sales price.
So if its a new van your looking for look no further because they won't be beaten and believe me i tried.

Having been to two Vauxhall main dealers to enquire about purchasing a new van and been less than impressed by the response, the first one could hardly manage to get up from his chair to show me a van and definitely was not doing a demonstration drive! I found Fleet Sales/Harpenden vans on EBay Motors and gave them a call, the response from Ian Bullock was immediate and enthusiastic, he had all the figures to hand and was able to offer an excellent deal with delivery to my office within 10 days in my chosen spec and colour, even better was the prompt and efficient finance service all speedily arranged over the telephone and email within 48 hours. I absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking for a hassle free buying experience and without doubt the best deal in town. I was looking for a van for ages that fitted what I was looking for but I just couldn't find one.

I called Harpenden Vans and they did all the searching for me and within an hour or so I had a call back from them telling me that they had a van the matched what I was looking for.

Within a couple of days I was the proud owner of my nearly new Vaxhall van at a lower price than I had seen elsewhere.

If only I had called them earlier!!
