I am a Harpenden resident and recently had some work done by Jon Cutmore. The work involved stripping out our downstairs toilet and fitting new products, including a hidden cistern and a new cabinet for the hand basin.

I wanted to pass on to you my thoughts on Jon. He carried out the works to a very high standard, was decent on budget and was very careful when doing to works to ensure that he tidied up at the end of every day etc.

I actually got Jon's details from the Harpenden Directory and wanted to pass my feedback to you. We will be using Jon again for other works and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Harpenden Home Improvements have just completed my beautiful fitted wardrobes for me.

Jon did a really terrific job an I am so pleased to have chosen someone who was not only professional but also reliable and thorough, cleaning up after completing the work every day and leaving everything clean and tidy.

The price was also very reasonable and I would recommend this local firm to anyone who likes to see a job well done!

John has carried out bespoke carpentry work in the three homes I have owned and sold, and the standard has always been exceptionally high.

He is both a trustworthy and dependable person, who will go out of his way to accommodate your vision of the final product, whilst giving sound advice on what will work for your project and budget.

In October 2011 we decided to carry out alterations to our home & therefore required our kitchen to be re-configured,I was given John's name by a friend, & a meeting was arranged.

He arrived when he said he would, listened to what I wanted, made sensible & practicable suggestions, all of which made sense, we agreed a basic price & a start date.

He arrived again on time & carried out the work, going the extra mile to find matching pieces of trim that were required to make a really proper job.
Subsequently he has laid Laminate flooring & built a large book case, both to a very high standard.

He always arrived when he said he would, & was clean & very tidy & very competitively priced & above all craftsman.
